Target Camera in Blender Print
Written by Joe

Obviously being a 3ds max guy, I miss some simple features in max when I move over to blender. One such feature is the “Target Camera” option in Max. There does not seem to be a similar option in Blender 2.49.

I will take the next few moments and to show you how to set up a similar function in Blender.

Add an empty (null, or for you max users a dummy) object by pressing the space bar and selecting empty.

I simply moved the empty object up for easier selection

Next, select the camera, then shift-select the empty object

Hit ctl+t and select old track from the menu

Now hit alt+r to clear the rotation.

Select your empty and rename

All done you now have a Target Camera in Blender
